In the following article, we would like to reflect on the current issue of the so-called ban on Sunday sales in retail stores based on a measure issued by the Chief Public Health Officer, specifically from the perspective of possible criminal liability. We are prompted to write this article by the current public debate, which also touches on the other side of the exercise of public authority, namely the responsibility for this exercise.
