GRAND SENATE OF THE CIVIL LAW COLLEGE OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC ON THE PROVISION OF SECTION 80(2) OF THE CIVIL PROCEDURE CODE
In its decision ref. no. 1VCdo/4/2024 of August 5, 2025, the Grand Chamber of the Civil Law Panel of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic dealt with the important procedural issue of whether the court is bound by a decision to change the plaintiff when assessing active legal standing. It concluded that the court is not bound by its procedural decision to change the plaintiff.
