New facts of the crime and definitions of new terms in the Criminal Code

The amendment to the Criminal Code, effective from August 1, 2025, expands the scope of criminal offenses to include violations of EU restrictive measures and introduces legislative definitions of terms necessary for their practical application. At the same time, the concept of gross negligence is being introduced into the legal system as a new qualified degree of negligence.
