The Civil Code is the fundamental regulation of private law, which we encounter almost every day. Despite this, it has long faced criticism for its lack of clarity, ambiguous interpretation of several institutions, and insufficient reflection of social developments. This is one of the reasons why it is awaiting the most significant reform since its adoption.
